Galvanized and copper fittings screw into the back of the teapot (included) - just slide the fittings onto the 1/2" copper pipe. I bought a 10ft 1/2ft copper pipe at home depot and had them cut it for me (for free) I used 2ft and 3ft sections - but you can make it as tall or short as you like .

I use industrial adhesives so they are very durable - but to keep them perfect forever I recommend bringing them in during very cold northern winters rather than putting them in direct sunlight with temperatures over 90 degrees. While the one in my own garden has withstood hail, rain, heat and cold, it still looks great.
